Project Management Processes Flow in Initiating Process Group and Planning Process Group

Understanding project management processes flow is an issue faced by most while reading Chapter 3 of the PMBOK® Guide Fourth Edition. The PMBOK® Guide Fourth Edition gives us 42 project management processes, five project management process groups, and nine project management knowledge areas!  All the project management processes are mapped to five project management process groups (based on flow from start to end of a project phase or a project itself) and and nine project management knowledge areas (based on area of specialization like scope, cost, time etc). Details of the individual project management processes are covered in project management knowledge areas.
